Personal Thoughts

This was a very lucky find for me! Aside from the fact that looking for a band with a single-letter name is like finding a needle in a haystack, R is not a band that is a very commonly remembered one. It was a shortlived project by later Sibilebashir frontman, Izumi, hence why I was looking for it! The CD itself is nicely decorated with the band logo and in the back of the jewel case is the 3-person band.

Now, how is the single? It's fine. I wouldn't rate it one of Izumi's best works, but it's definitely not bad. It's all very competant and makes for a very easy listen. My personal favorite track is probably Haijin. I think especially with that track there's a lot of interesting vocal flaire to go with the instrumentals.
