Personal Thoughts
I LOVE cali≠gari and I really like wrestling, so when I saw this, I was immediatly really excited. From the time it was realized, I was scowering Mercari JP like wild looking for a listing. They seemingly went really quick, so I was so lucky to find it... But the one I got was the Blu-Ray, and it didn't really occur to me that would be an issue. Luckily, I have a Playstation and was able to use that!
This was a REALLY fun and unique live. It was music with wrestling as almost intermissions. The band plays on a stage behind the ring. I don't know if it was how I was watching it or the Blu-Ray itself but I did notice the audio kind of sucked... Again, it could be my devices, but I know how cali≠gari usually sounds as they're one of my top bands to collect live DVDs of. Either way, that was a bit of a dissapointment.
The wrestling itself was really a joy though. I never watched anything from this prommotion before but you can tell everyone was having fun and really shined. I really like character-driven wrestling and even though there's a language gap where I probably only understand 5% of it right now, the charisma shined through beyond that barrier. It was also my first time seeing intergender wrestling. Also, the finale was great, involving a 6v6 match where the band played during it.
My takeaway and the culmination of my thoughts is it's a really fun live!! I do wish I had conditions to play it on my PC so I could see if the audio is really messed up, but at the time of writing these thoughts down, a USB Blu-Ray player isn't very high on my list of things to get.
