Only when the need arises! Then I scramble to figure out what the hell I want LOL
74. Would you consider yourself a beginner? Or advanced? Somewhere in the middle?
Somewhere in the middle... I've been doing this for enough years and even had a mini 1-week course on basic HTML lol. However, I know I do a lot of "bad practices" that'd piss any professional off.
75. Do you have a habit of looking at the source code of websites you visit?
Not really? I used to sometimes, but not so much anymore. I only really tend to for certain elements when trying to figure something out (i.e., it took me a while to figure out how to use a certain music player element I never really ended up having a use for... But the documentation didn't really help /too/ much, so I looked at sites that also used it and reversed engineered to figure out what the hell my issue was)
76. How did YOU learn how to make websites?
LOTS OF TRIAL AND ERROR.... And some looking at codes. Ironically, at first I jacked a lot of info from Uyuni of Pinokiwo fame's site to try and play around and figure out how to build stuff from scratch... As an old web ghoulie, I actually used site builders LOL so I only had incredibly basic HTML experience-- Even things like nesting DIVS were foreign at a point.

...... Yeah.
78. Thoughts on floating elements?
When used right, they're very cool!!!

VCR OSD Mono and PC-9900 V2!! ... I don't use any of these for site building, sadly u_u

Sure, if I felt comfortable with someone! I wouldn't mind if someone was more knowledgable on a topic than me, but we both cared about it, doing artwork for the site!
82. Do you surf the Web to find new personal websites very often?
Occasionally!! If I'm feeling burnt out by social media or looking for stuff on a particular topic I tend to do it more so.

I'll be honest I don't tend to do it because I rarely bookmark anything LOL.
84. What do you want people to be most impressed with when they see your website?
My passion! I know I'm not the best website maker there is, but I'm proud of my passion for things even if they're imperfect. I'd also like people to like my OCs--
85. Are you interested in technology outside of websites? Do you collect?
Yes I love technology!!! I don't have the means to spend too much on collecting...

... Too much!

Yeah! I don't know too much about it...
89. Do you program in general? Have you ever written a program for use with or on your website, not counting simple JavaScript?
Not really-- I code outside of website design, but that's more or less database-related. Any other project I've coded also hasn't grown legs... Maybe one day...
90. Speaking of programs that help you make websites, what do you think of static site generators (SSGs)? Have you ever used one?
I don't use one because I'm too stubborn LOL. As I kid I used one because of the service I used... Now I don't mind if other people do, I just think people should make sure to add their own personal stamp on things!
91. Do you keep a hitcounter? Why or why not?
Yes... But I can't say I really care about getting site hits. It's more 1. Nostalgia 2. I wanted to make a cute one..... Funny enough, in a similar vein and despite having one, I have an extension that deletes follower count from every social media I'm on because it makes me so nervous-.
92. Do you frequent forums? Which ones?
I used to lurk on a certain visual kei forum that went down a few years ago... I don't like the layout of their new host so I don't check it often. I sadly haven't been a forum member since the late 2010s. I've been thinking about joining some but I'm shyyyy lol.
93. Do you write your page content directly into the editor, or do you prepare it elsewhere, like a text document or a Word document?
Depends! If it's reviews, I tend to write them in a Google Doc because it takes a while to compile them (Usually minimum a month of writing). Things like my about (and this!) I wrote directly into VSC.
94. Do you think you appear cool to others? A more accurate answer now: do other people ever say you're cool?
Maybe/Sometimes. First answer: I would hope at least my passion is cool to others. 2nd answer: I've occasionally been called I'm cool and despite me hoping that I'm cool, it's always quite a shock to the system--
95. Are you embarrassed of your old work? Have you ever deleted everything out of shame?
Yes/No. In my early days I played around with a lot of code from other sites and I wish I didn't do that. However, it didn't really go anywhere because I was a bit stupid so it ended up becoming a learning experience and I can't knock something that I got knowledge out of. I can't say it was deleted in shame, more that I wanted to do things my own way.
96. Would you close down your website if you couldn't update it, or would you leave an archive?
I'd prefer an archive. I've had my old websites close on me (hosted on ye old Webs.com-) and I wish I saved my artwork from back then. Now-a-days I crosspost, but that archive going down really makes me never want my stuff to go away like that again.
97. Do you reveal a lot about yourself on your website? Or are you more secretive?
Depends; I try not to get SOO personal. I try and strike a good balance of "it's fine to show your emotions and thoughts" and "okay, you're feeling over emotional, think over it".... However, in the end, I think aside from general thoughts and opinions, I keep things to myself. My own girlfriend has said that before about me actually LOL, which is very funny because I used to overshare.
98. Are you willing to reveal who your best online friend is, and/or if they have a website?
My beautiful girlfriend :) Who sadly does not have a site......... But I shall one day get her to make one......
99. And do you optimise the images on your website?
Shakey hand sign.........................................
100. We're out of time! How do you feel after answering 100 questions? ....other than exhausted.
Not so exhausted because I worked on this slowly LOL. Thank you for the questionaire it was super fun!!! :DDD I also realize how nostalgia informs my choices...
